Multi award-winning flamenco metal band, Bardic Form, is headed on a 2023 Summer Tour across Western Canada to promote their new release “Tajin”. The long-anticipated recording is a full-band follow-up to be released in early 2023, and showcases their new and intricate wall of sound they have been thoughtfully developing since their last release over 5 years ago.

Bardic Form is an award-winning acoustic progressive flamenco metal group from Edmonton, AB, who blend traditional acoustic folk, Latin, melodic metal, and classical music into a high energy and unparalleled performance. From outdoor festivals to living rooms, concert halls to coffee houses, they are a rare gem performing something truly different and unforgettable that has left audiences speechless and on their feet.

They have been direct support for 8-time Grammy Award winner Ziggy Marley, and have performed at North America’s largest folk music festival, the Edmonton Folk Music Festival, three times. They are recipients of the Edmonton Music Awards for both Instrumental, and World Music Recordings of the year. After 12 years, Bardic Form has become one of Western Canada’s most sought-out musical acts.

David Jay “The Spaniard”

David Jay “The Spaniard” is a self-taught, virtuosic, instrumental guitarist based in Edmonton, AB. Jay has combined his love for metal, classical, flamenco, and avant-garde folk to create beautiful hybrid pieces for fans to adore. Perfecting his use of a live looping pedal, Jay recreates tense and beautiful soundscapes as a one-man self-described “guitar orchestra.” Being dubbed “The Fastest Guitar Player in Alberta” by Stephan Boissonneault (founder of DAZE magazine), David Jay’s live performance will both shock and amaze.
