The quartet is comprised of violinists Robert Uchida and Laura Veeze, violist Keith Hamm, and cellist Julie Hereish, all active soloists, chamber musicians, and members of your Edmonton Symphony Orchestra.

The GSQ has collaborated with Tom Allen, Angela Cheng, Philip Chiu, Cameron Crozman, Steven Dann, Lori Gemmel, Desmond Hoebig, Jessica Linnebach, the New Orford String Quartet, Rosebud String Quartet, and other world class artists. They have been featured by the Banff International String Quartet Festival, Canmore artsPlace, ChamberFest West, Edmonton Recital Society, Longshadow Music Festival, Music by the Sea, PRISMA, and the Rosebud Chamber Music Festival.

Robert, Laura, Keith, and Julie gratefully acknowledge the support of the descendants of Eleanor and Laurent Garneau, for whom music and music making was, and is, a great source of inspiration and expression.

David Bordeleau stands as a pillar of Edmonton's musical community, bringing his talent and dedication to local audiences as a distinguished member of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra since 2023. With a rich background as an accomplished chamber musician, David's musical journey has taken him across prestigious stages worldwide, including notable performances at festivals such as the "Peter de Grote Festival" and the "Grachtenfestival" in Amsterdam.

After joining the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra in 2013, Clayton has immersed himself in the local arts scene; making appearances at the Alberta Baroque Society, C'mon Festival, Early Music Alberta, Edmonton Chamber Music Society, Edmonton Recital Society, and with the Chamber Orchestra of Edmonton. He has collaborated with Edmonton locals; Juno-nominated Nuela Charles and Martin Kerr, and performed locally, nationally and internationally with Kent Sangster's jazz ensemble, Obsessions Octet.
