Two of England’s brightest folk/roots stars are touring western Canada together.

Blair Dunlop is an award-winning British singer-songwriter and guitarist, who has released 5 albums, 2 EPs and toured around the globe.

“From the outside, when listening to the music of Blair Dunlop, you get the impression that though he’s something of a natural talent he continues to work hard to progress both his songwriting and musicianship…. you can hear the folk heritage coursing through his veins as well as the originality he brings to the genre.” - Songwriting Magazine
“A cult hero whose work is adored by those who come across it” - Clash Music

Seriously captivating live, Jake Morley brings his distinctive songwriting and implausible guitar playing to Western Canada to showcase material from his third studio album Some Things Are Like Other Things. Morley's ability to express the human experience with wit and intensity has earned him a reputation as one of the UK's most original songwriters and performers, renowned for creating exceptional live moments.

"Morley is a true original" - Acoustic Magazine
“Mesmeric... a masterclass... skillfully faultless” - The Upcoming
"If Jake Morley had a hit, we wouldn't be remotely surprised" - The Guardian

Blair Dunlop

Blair burst onto the scene with his debut album ‘Blight & Blossom’ in 2012, showcasing virtuosic musicianship and lyrical maturity, and was awarded a prestigious BBC Folk Award in the wake of its release. A string of critically acclaimed albums followed, along with headline tours and festival appearances in the UK, Europe, North America and Australia. From Glastonbury to Tuscany, Queensland to Palestine, Blair has brought his musicality and storytelling to audiences young and old.

Jake Morley

Born in London England, his debut record Many Fish to Fry led to a residency at Ronnie Scotts, headline tours across the UK, Europe and Canada, airplay across BBC Radio and live performances on national television. 2016's follow-up The Manual, richly layered with strings and choirs, has also attracted millions of streams. Along the way he's had a shred-off with Punch Brothers, swapped late night songs with Michael Kiwanuka, broken Jack Garratt's amp, and opened shows for They Might be Giants, Ed Sheeran, Newton Faulkner and Joe Bonamassa.
