The Ducks started in 2019 when they played a concert in their garage to curious neighbors wondering what all the racket was. After rising to fame in the Bow Valley in 2023 they took the stage at the Canmore Folk Fest in 2024. The band consists of three ducklings: Timmy Mann (lead guitar and lead vocals), Charlie Kestle (pianist and drummer) and Oliver Robins (bassist and backup vocals). They mainly play original rock and also enjoy performing anything from The Beatles to Guns ‘N Roses. Some of The Duck's achievements include an interview and video newscast for CBC’s The National along with winning the Canmore Lamphouse Arts Bursary just this last winter. The Ducks will be releasing 3 of their original songs on streaming services this spring.
