The Deep Dark Woods' new album is an exercise in understatement, showcasing a band who clearly knows what they're doing, and simply keeps getting better at doing it, paradoxically making it seem more and more effortless with each release.

Michelle Calder is A Nova Scotian-based indie folk-pop singer-songwriter and nature enthusiast, who enjoys combining her two passions by including themes of nature, hiking, travel and adventure in her songwriting. For Michelle, the creative process most often begins with a notebook, acoustic guitar, and a scenic location to use as inspiration; the process of creating the art being as much a valued part of the art itself as the final finished recording. A 2025 International Singer Songwriter Awards finalist nominee for Emerging artist and Rising Star, this emerging recording artist is going big in Fall 2025 with her first cross-Canada tour to promote her new album "Wildling" due out during the tour.

Born into a small solar system just outside of the Cosmo Crown, Samm grew up learning the music of the ancient ones. Searching for something to fill the emptiness inside of him, he hopped into his spaceship to find other worlds full of gold and grapefruits. After crash landing on Earth he was freeze dried and flash frozen for 10,000 years. Once the sun decided it was time, it melted him out of the icecaps and he floated into the ocean. He was found drifting somewhere near the edge of the Caspian sea. Rescued by oyster pirates he entertained them with his songs from his past as a thank you for saving him. The pirates introduced him to the white light and they say the rest is history. the people of Earth taught him to love and soon he was writing music for the world to enjoy. With his skillful crafting of sounds and words Samm takes listeners on a journey to the outer rim. Praised by the highest critics of the Earth, they say he is a treasure to this planet communicating all the feelings of the human experience.
