artsPlace favourites, The O’Pears are a Toronto-based contemporary folk trio who use soaring harmonies and a seamless blend to weave stories that stir the spirit and capture the timeless character of folk music.

They are touring to support the release of their much-awaited second full-length album, and will return to Canmore to share their new music along with some holiday favourites. "Stay Warm" is a winter-inspired modern holiday album which explores what a lifetime of winters and holidays has meant to each of them, their relationships  and those in their communities, capturing a more inclusive perspective on such a complex time of year.

You may know the group from the various other projects they’ve taken part in, including singing in the cover band Dwayne Gretzky, providing backup for Arkells on The Strombo Show, and perfoming with Canadian icons like Gordon Lightfoot, Sam Roberts, and Ron Sexsmith, among others.
