Join artsPlace and ReFreshed Crew for an Art Exhibit + Hip-Hop Party, as we present artwork by Stoney Nakoda and Tsuut’ina Nation youth in celebration of National Indigenous Peoples Day.

ReFreshed Crew supports Indigenous and vulnerable youth in achieving their full potential through resiliency based Hip-Hop, arts and culture initiatives, and a community of empowerment. This exhibition features artwork by youth in Treaty 7 First Nations Territories.

ReFreshed Crew's vision is to see youth walking in health, purpose and responsibility; overcoming obstacles, achieving life goals and opportunities for success. ReFreshed started as basic workshops for youth outreach and has progressed into a diverse fellowship providing opportunities for positive life skills and experiences through mentoring, skill building, and community.

The continued success of ReFreshed has been evidenced through the completion and sharing of projects, consistent participation, personal development, and increased confidence of the youth.

Since its inception, over 800 youth have been reached through programs, workshops, outreach, and events.
