~The most awarded film at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival~

Nestled in an isolated mountain region deep within the Balkans, Hatidze Muratova is the last in a long line of Macedonian wild beekeepers, eking out a living farming honey in small batches. The last female bee-hunter in Europe must save the bees and return the natural balance when a family of nomadic beekeepers invade her land and threaten her livelihood.

It’s a tough and tender portrait of the delicate balance between humankind and nature, a glimpse at a fast disappearing way of life, and an unforgettable testament to one extraordinary woman’s resilience.
