Digital Storytelling

Digital Storytelling uses photos, videos, music and your own voice to tell an important story from your life. The finished stories are a video between 2-4 minutes in length. You can create a Digital Story for your own personal enrichment, or you can choose to share it publicly to convey an important message or life experience. Kristy will help you find meaningful moments from your life to help you focus your story, then she will help you write and record a voiceover and give you some basic video editing techniques. Family and friends will be invited to view the completed Digital Stories in the artsPlace theatre as part of the final class on Dec. 19. No previous experience is required.
*Each participant’s fee includes: royalty free music and image licensing, three hours of post production editing done by Kristy Wolfe and a downloadable copy of a polished digital story. All software is provided.
