Participants will learn about basic hand-building and wheel techniques, as well as processes for decorating, glazing, and firing. This program is suitable for absolute beginners and those already acquainted with clay who want to continue fundamental skill building.

No previous pottery experience is necessary.

Cost of the course includes a bag of clay (22 Ibs), firing and glazing.

Please note:

Ceramics Fundamentals is limited to one class per person, per season.

All fired and glazed ceramic work must be picked up within two weeks of the completion notice, or it will be donated to artsPlace.
