Create your own original work of art using the medium of pyrography.  Have fun with this unique guided process where you can burn your own 6 inch bear image whilst working closely with our artist instructor Bryony Toon. 

Learn the step-by-step basic skills you will need to create your image. Participants can bring their own bear photo or one can be provided for you. We will print your image ready for the start of the workshop! High quality images are strongly recommended. No experience necessary!

Bryony Toon

Bryony specializes in wood pyrography which is the art of decorating wood or leather by burning a design on the surface with a heated metallic point. She incorporates gouache paint into her designs in order to capture the beauty of her surroundings. Bryony strives for her artwork to take you on a beautiful journey through the ever-changing time periods of the Canadian Rocky Mountains.
