Ciara Jayne Linteau
Ciara Jayne Linteau nee Hossack was born in Calgary, Alberta. Relocated to Fort McMurray, Ciara was an active member of the Fort McMurray Ceramic Guild where she began her love of teaching ceramic courses. Works can be found in public and private collections in Canada, Australia and the United States. Her first important acquisitions were to The Sir Elton John Collection and Alberta Foundation of Art.
Dawn Saunders Dahl
My work reflects the fleeting nature of our personal and collective history, and strives to generate discussion and awareness around issues of identity, community and culture. Since 2007, I have been actively exploring my own story through ceramics, drawing, painting as well as public art projects. Increasingly I’ve begun to use more unconventional tools such as photography, audio and video capture, soil sampling, as well as research into farming and food production. I also teach portrait and landscape drawing in clay and paint!

Sculpture, mixed-media, painting, and installation, in a variety of media, inspired by processes of nature, and the interplay and inseparability of human culture and our natural environment. My art works often involve natural and found materials, or the combining of cultural and natural aspects. Some works are figurative, inspired by human circumstance, gesture, and form.

Stampede Artist Ranch Project
Each year the Stampede funds a small group of selected contemporary artists to spend a weekend in Longview to experience the western way of life on an authentic working ranch. The artists then create works of art reflecting on ranch life through the expression of their own contemporary styles. The impact of the experience can be quite magical. The completed bodies of work from each of the artists are shown together at the Western Showcase Exhibit in the Artist Ranch Booth throughout the Stampede. We are looking for submissions from contemporary artists for our 2017 retreat which will take place September of 2017.
Acrylics, rock, flora and the use of gel are used to give the paintings, not only texture, but relief on canvas. Landscapes are painted from memory, rock used in works selected from locations visited by the artist. Series of Inukshuks, Northern Lights, Waterfalls, and Prairie landscapes continues.http://www.terryfindley.com
The Auspicious Type
I’ve been a graphic designer since 2006 with an emphasis in print design. Whether designing for print or web my goal is to: create work that communicates harmonious beauty of form and function while engaging an audience in meeting or exceeding the expectations of a given project. In all my projects, I love a hands on approach, involving my self in the project from all levels, to learn and engage from team members around me and share my ideas on how to drive the project forward with inspiration and team leadership when required. Graphic design is a dialogue between designer, client and team members to bring forth creative ideas. I believe in such collaboration where the designer is part of the strategic thought process, where visual communication becomes part of the objective to presenting ideas simply and clearly. Today I live and work in Alberta designing for friends, family, clients and various companies to challenge my self in growing in creative directions while remaining current to design and business trends in a diverse growing industry.
