Born in Wirral, England, the North was his home all the way till completion of his Art and Design BA at the University of Leeds. Since then, he has experimented with many ways of bringing his whimsical marks to the UK and his new home, Canmore.
Jamie sees the painterly act as an opportunity to intuitively discover the power of striking colour and energetic movement. He knows you will see something different in his paintings than he might see, therefore, excitingly this is an invitation to stay as curious as one can be when witnessing the uncertain nature of freestyle abstract painting.
