Kat Wright is a painter and designer based in the Canadian Rockies. She grew up in Vancouver and studied graphic design & illustration at Capilano University. Kat moved to the Bow Valley in 2010 and now divides her time between Canmore, Alberta and Nelson BC.
In 2023, Kat was able to shift out of office life to become a full-time artist, a career change that has provided more flexibility to explore the mountain landscapes that inspire her art. She also has more time to spend with her two children and loves to include them in her outdoor adventures and artistic endeavours.
