Holly Kaquitts (Indian given name: ThunderBear) is a Stoney Nakoda/Cree self-taught artist. Having lived most of her life on Morley Reserve (a.k.a. Mini Thni), ThunderBear is the granddaughter of the Stoney Nakoda/Cree artist and actor Frank. M. Kaquitts Sr. and the niece of another great Stoney Nakoda artist, Roland Rollingmud.
ThunderBear's passion for art began as a child when she was influenced by the nearby Rocky Mountains and the local storytellers and artists who surrounded and raised her.
