Presented by Daryl Kootenay, Mini Thni to the United Nations will share the story of the Nakoda Youth Council attending the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues (UNPFII) in New York City, USA & the Expert Mechanism on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (EMRIP) in Geneva Switzerland.

This evening aims to bring together both indigenous and non indigenous community members to learn about and hear directly from local indigenous voices on the importance of thinking globally and acting locally. Join us to learn more about UNPFII & EMRIP, challenges facing Indigenous peoples locally and internationally, and the future of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples here in the Bow Valley.
