Join nature & wildlife photographer Darren Colello for a fun and instructive workshop learning the basics of nature and wildlife photography.

Participants will gain comfort in using their manual DSLR and/or mirrorless camera settings, understand the basics of lighting and photographing in diverse light conditions, and explore techniques for capturing dynamic images and producing compelling compositions.

Suitable for beginner and intermediate photographers.

Instructor: Darren Colello

Participants will need to bring their own DSLR and/or mirrorless camera. This program may include walking adventures around Canmore to take photos outdoors.

Meet the Instructor

Darren Colello

Darren has studied wildlife and animal species' behaviours and adaptations for over 30 years, and works tirelessly in the fields of wildlife biology and environmental conservation. He holds multiple degrees and has taught over 100,000 individuals of all ages about the exciting and bio-diverse world of wildlife.
