Instruction will cover Japanese stab binding, accordion, and pamphlet stitch. Participants are encouraged to bring their own photos, letters, and/or drawings to the second class to create a special, personalized book to store their favourite memories. No previous art expertise necessary.
Instructor: Cy Yang-Smith
Cy (they/them) is a visual artist, photographer, and maker currently based in Treaty 7 territory. They hold a Bachelor of Design in Photography (2016) from the Alberta University of the Arts and is the Photography Facilitator at Banff Centre for Arts + Creativity.
