Health & Safety

Dear artsPlace community,

When you visit artsPlace, we remind you that masks are mandatory indoors in Alberta unless prevented from doing so for medical reasons .

artsPlace is currently participating in the "Restrictions Exemption Program" in order to keep our programming running and our facilities open and safe for our staff, artists, instructors, visitors and participants.

What that means:

Effective November 15, 2021 anyone born in 2009 or earlier who participates in programs or attends an event inside the artsPlace building will be required to provide one of the following:

  • Proof full of vaccination (at least 14 days from the second dose of a 2-dose vaccine or a single dose of Janssen) AND provide government-issued I.D (for those 18 and older). Alberta vaccine records with QR codes (paper or digital) is now the only valid Alberta-issued proof of vaccination accepted.
  • private negative PCR or rapid COVID-19 test result taken within 72 hours.
  • Medical exemption letter.

We ask for your kindness towards others, as everyone navigates this time with various levels of comfort. Please give others space as much as possible and be respectful as we share indoor spaces together. Continue to practice hand hygiene and do not enter the building if you feel unwell.

We are excited to offer select, limited-capacity, in-person programs and events to you in the coming months. See our calendar for details.

Thank you for your understanding and patience in these very trying times for everyone. We really appreciate your ongoing support of artsPlace and kind dialogue while we work to continue bringing the arts and creativity to the Bow Valley.
