"I am an artist who works with paper & fabric.
I have studied the art of paper folding since childhood. I am a member of the Canmore Origami Collective, a local origami club who enjoys making LARGE origami works, just to see what is possible.
Once I folded 1000 origami cranes all by myself! It took all of my free time over three months to complete them.
At artsPlace I teach classes for both children and adults. I love helping my students to enjoy making things with their hands. My class projects often use paper or fabric supplies and sometimes have a hint of math or science concept hidden inside.
