After retirement from a long career in all aspects of physical therapy – clinical work, teaching, research and professional service - Joan is now equally dedicated to quilting.
Joan enjoys making both art and traditional quilts but her passion is teaching quilting to the next generation. She has actively promoted education in the Mountain Cabin Quilters’ Guild and has taught a number of beginning quilt classes at artsPlace.
