Cody Lefthand brings us a vital piece of provincial history and asks the audience to reframe their views of Alberta's film and entertainment history through the lens of the First Nations peoples involved.

Cody Lefthand will be present to answer questions from the audience after the film.

Cody Lefthand

Cody Lefthand is an emerging Stoney Nakoda / Tsuu T’ina Filmmaker, from the Eden Valley Bearspaw First Nation. He’s primarily interested in creating works centered around the historical indigenous experience from the Treaty 7 territory. His past works have focused on his home community of Eden Valley and the Kananaskis Country area of South Western Alberta. He continues to create and develop both fiction and documentary projects.
