America in the mid-1980s. In the midst of the AIDS crisis and a conservative Reagan administration, New Yorkers grapple with life and death, love and sex, heaven and hell. This new staging of Tony Kushner’s multi-award winning two-part play is directed by Olivier and Tony award winning director Marianne Elliott (The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time and War Horse), and stars Andrew Garfield (Hacksaw Ridge, The Amazing Spider-Man).

The second half of Tony Kushner's Pulitzer Prize-winning epic, Perestroika steers the characters introduced in Millennium Approaches from the opportunistic eighties to a new sense of community in the nineties. "Not only a stunning resolution of the resounding human drama, but also a true millennial work of art."- Frank Rich, The New York Times.
