Latina Culture in the Bow Valley

Five amazing Bow Valley local Latina women gather for this inspiring online event. Together they will laugh and joke as they share some surprising ‘secrets’ of their personal Latina identities, and what it means to them to be a Latina person here in the Bow Valley. Hailing from several countries of origin, such as Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Mexico, this group of women will consider the many cultural links that bind them together, while also celebrating their differences.

On the first Wednesday of every month artsPlace hosts a Cultural Learning Circle. These are led by a diversity of facilitators, from Stoney Nakoda knowledge-keepers to local community members, to experts in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion education. Admission is FREE!

This online event will be delivered in a Zoom Meeting. A meeting link and password will be emailed to you in advance of the start of the session. Please download the Zoom Application from
