Private parties at artsPlace are a perfect way to celebrate that special occasion, connect with your peers, and be creative together.

We look after the set-up, supplies, instruction, and clean-up, allowing you to focus on the fun!

Clay Parties

• Instructor led hand-built pottery project
• $50 per person with a minimum of 6 participants and maximum of 20. Price drops to $45 per person after the first 10 participants.
• 2 hours in length
• Can be booked during the day or evening. Staff charges may apply if it is not in our opening hours.
• Pieces will be glazed, fired and ready for pick up 2-3 weeks after the class 

Painting Parties

• Instructor led acrylic painting lesson
• $45 per person with a minimum of 6 participants and maximum of 20. Price drops to $40 per person after the first 10 participants.
• 2 hours in length
• Can be booked during the day or evening. Staff charges may apply if it is not in our opening hours
• Participants will start by painting the same piece and can customize to create a one-of-a-kind artwork ready for display

Kids Parties

FOR KIDS AGES 5 AND UP

Host your child’s birthday party at artsPlace! Enjoy a hands-on art experience with quality, artist-grade materials and a qualified artist instructor.

Staff charges may apply if it is not in our opening hours

What’s included?

• 1.5-hour instructor led art project (clay, painting and other options available) 
• A studio art project to take home, or if you are creating in clay, to pick up in 2 - 3 weeks
• 1-hour use of party room for birthday festivities (cake, gifts & more*)

*Parties are welcome to bring their own prepared food, refreshments, tableware and decorations. You may arrive up to 20 minutes before the start of your party to set-up.

Cost

$295 for up to 10 participants // $13 for every additional participant

Private Movie Rental

Kids and / or adults private movie party - Theatre

What's included:

* Hire of the theatre for duration of movie length.

* Small popcorn and non-alcoholic drink

* You are welcome to decorate with balloons and banners

* You are welcome to bring cake and gifts to share after the movie (subject to date and time with other artsPlace programs)

Cost

$250 for up to 20 participants. Additional charge of $6 per person over this limit.
