Learn about the healing and helpful edible plants that can be found in your own Bow Valley backyard!

Then use some of those plants to make impressions into clay, forming beautifully textured ceramic plates. This workshop is part discussion and part clay workshop.

Meet the instructor

Marzena Pustelnik

Marzena is an avid hiker with a passion for arts and healing plants. She studied ceramics at the Dundas Valley School of Art in Ontario. She was also a long-term self-directed artist in residence at Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity, teaching pottery classes and completing pottery projects.

Marzena is a student of Wild Rose College and graduated as Practical Herbalist. Her popular artsPlace program, "Healing Plants and Clay" combines her love of pottery and herbalism.
