Wood burning, also called pyrography, is the process of drawing a picture on a piece of wood with a hot metal tip.

Create a gorgeous mountain scene on a set of four unique wooden magnets! Follow along this step-by-step process while learning about the tools and practice of pyrography to create inspired, functional, organic works of art. No experience necessary!

Bryony Toon

Bryony specializes in wood pyrography which is the art of decorating wood or leather by burning a design on the surface with a heated metallic point. She incorporates gouache paint into her designs in order to capture the beauty of her surroundings. Bryony strives for her artwork to take you on a beautiful journey through the ever-changing time periods of the Canadian Rocky Mountains.
