Kasia has always had passion for community work and since arriving in Canada, she has volunteered and worked with numerous organizations for the benefit of the Bow Valley community.
Her volunteering journey began with the Rocky Mountain Adaptive Sports Centre (RMASC), where she worked with individuals with various disabilities. She also contributed her time and skills to the YWCA Banff and served on both the Equity and Sustainability Committees at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel.
Having lived in 8 different countries and visited 45, Kasia has developed deep appreciation for multiculturalism and sustainability, which she has incorporated into her professional life.
Since moving to Bow Valley 11 years ago, Kasia has embraced the community and its natural surroundings. Following her passion for community work, she accepted the role of Community Connection Coordinator with Settlement Services, which allowed her to work closely with the community of newcomers. During this time, Kasia's passion for arts and creativity was reignited and continues to grow as she witnesses the power of art to unite people and build bridges.
Kasia is very excited to join the artsPlace team and inspire changes that will bring our diverse and vibrant community together through art and meaningful connections. In her spare time, Kasia enjoys arts and mountain sports, which complement her adventurous spirit.
