"My name is Katherine Tippe, but many of my friends call me Kathy or Kat. I am thrilled to be an artist with artsPlace. My passion is sharing mixed media and art journaling with young and old. I believe we are all born to create and that art truly does heal! I am a social worker and an expressive arts facilitator. I have resided in Canmore for the past three years, with my husband. When I am not working or don’t have my sleeves rolled up creating, I am outdoors hiking, snowshoeing, paddle boarding, snapping photos or taking my chocolate lab Molly for a play or a swim. My husband and I love camping and exploring the backcountry together. We feel so blessed to sit on our deck and watch the sun go down while we gaze at the majestic Three Sister mountains. Living each and everyday to its fullest and appreciating all the little moments is how I live.
