"I grew up doing all kinds of crafts, especially knitting, sewing, crocheting and cross stitch embroidery. But I left all the crafts behind in the 90s. It wasn’t until about 7 years ago when I picked up my crochet hook again. With more and more screen time and technology in our lives, I had the growing need to do something with my hands. To create something tangible.
Knitting and crocheting is a form of meditation for me. It teaches me to slow down and focus on one thing at a time (and a great deal of patience, too).
My passion is making accessories, because who doesn’t need another cozy cowl or ear warmer around here.
I find inspiration in nature and different handmade traditions around the world.
My mission is to spread the joy of knitting / crocheting and the beauty of making things with our own hands. Slowly. One stitch at a time.
You can find me on trails around Canmore, often with a bag full of yarn and a project or two on the go."
