Hi, my name is Alix, and I am a Silversmith. I started silversmithing in 2020 and for the most part I’ve been self-taught. Learning as I go, with a lot of trial and error. I’ve been creating for as long as I can remember. Growing up I loved making jewellery out of found items like beach stones and bike tubing. Over the years I have developed my skills and refined my technique to the point where I am now working with silver, small bits of gold and gemstones (mostly turquoise and jasper).
My jewellery is inspired by the landscape around me (Canadian Rockies) but really, I just make what I think looks cool. Every piece I make is handcrafted and one of a kind.
